Deposit: 5000 Peso, plus Passport and full Rental Charge.
The above detailed Contract is mutually agreed further as follows:
Renter shall utilize the Bike only for the purpose of sight seeing on main roads.
If the vehicle breaks down/is damaged-you let us make the necessary repairs.
If the Vehicle breaks down outside Barili, the renter is responsible for the return transportation
.
Vehicle is insured in accordance with current Philippines liability. Additional Insurance coverage is the responsibility of the renter. In the event that an accident is deemed due to dangerous/reckless driving or alcohol consumption then the customer will be fully liable for any damage, claims or related costs.
During rental period, renter must take good care and maintain the vehicle/s as if it were his/her own property, and check oil, coolant level, tires and chain wear everyday.
The renter is responsible for any damage to vehicle, whether caused by the renter or third party.
If the vehicle needs to be repaired/painted, the renter must pay extended rent as long as the vehicle is in repair shop in addition to the cost of repairs.
The renter will be liable for the theft of the Vehicle. The renter will be charged to replace the vehicle in cases of theft.
There is a maximum mileage allowance on all rentals of 250km per day. Any excess mileage will be charged at 10 Pesos per km.
Motorcycles may be taken off the island of Cebu to enable customers to tour around. Customers must inform Cebu Big Bike rentals of this in advance so that we are able to provide the correct documentation to enable this.
The renter must have a valid international motorcycle driver’s license (All driving licenses from Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand are valid for upto 4 months in the Philippines)or a local driver’s license.
The renter must agree to obey Philippines traffic rules (Especially with regards to wearing a helmet for motorbikes and refraining from drinking of alcohol while driving). Do not under any circumstances drink and drive while riding a motorcycle.
The renter agrees to only park the Bike at a secure place during the night time.
The renter agrees to only use the recommended octane of fuel. All bikes are rented with a full tank of gas. Bikes must be returned with a full tank. We recommend Petron gasoline where possible as it is the cleanest fuel available here. The higher CC motorbikes such as the Kawasaki Ninja 650, Z900 and Suzuki VStrom 800DE require premium fuel (95+ Octane). If lower quality fuel is used in them then we reserve the right to charge customers for any damage or repairs.
Late Penalty: Up to 59 minutes late is a Grace Period = No Charge, 1-2 Hours late = 1/3 Daily Rental Charge, 2-3 Hours late = 2/3 Daily Rental Charge, Over 3 Hours late = Full day Rental Charge.
Insurance: All units have 50, 000 Peso of Compulsory Insurance for 3rd party damage. However, this is a small amount of insurance and will not cover repairs and replacement of the Bike which the Renter is fully liable for under the Terms of the Rental Contract.
